Does your organization support the CSRD vision and approach to solutions-based climate services, resilience building, and sustainable development? Are you interested in contributing to a broad-based movement to enable vulnerable societies to develop as well as cope with a changing climate? Do you agree that—through partnership among major institutions; programs; and scientific, technical, and practitioner communities—major gains can be made toward this end? If the answer is yes, then you should become affiliated with CSRD. We are interested in attracting contributing partners that can bring significant investments, technical expertise and products, and development experience to our cause. We are also seeking to establish a broad community of practice for CSRD—a coalition of individuals and organizations invested in climate services, resilience, and climate-smart development practices; and committed to advancing knowledge within these fields.
Contributing Partner Commitment
Contributing partners are key to filling capacity gaps and leadership roles in current CSRD partnership activities. Contributing partners will provide technical or practical expertise, or access to value-added networks in support of CSRD projects and activities. Contributing partners may operate at the global, regional, national, and/or subnational scale.
Community of Practice Commitment
The community of practice is intended to be an open platform for knowledge exchange, discussion, and deliberation on key questions, gaps, and good practices. Members will participate in the forums, events, and activities offered through the consortium.
How to Collaborate
If your organization is interested in becoming a partner, please submit a letter of interest to the CSRD Steering Committee. The letter should be from a member of your organization's senior leadership and detail how you propose to contribute to the vision and success of the partnership. Highlight any current capacities, products, or services your organization would provide. The letter of interest should support the Climate Services for Resilient Development Vision Statement and Expression of Interest to Collaborate documents agreed on by founding partners on June 9, 2015.
Submit your letter of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please contact us with comments, suggestions, and queries. The CSRD Partnership Coordination Office will serve as a point of contact for communications.
